Minister recovers expenses
41The Minister may recover the following costs from an owner of an exotic animal or a person in possession of an exotic animal:
(a)
the costs incurred in the seizure, housing, keeping, maintaining, disposal or destruction of the exotic animal;
(b)
the costs of eliminating or reducing the danger an exotic animal poses to public health or the environment; and
(c)
the costs of preserving the health of the exotic animal.
